Phase 2 of this project is now complete! We have a 30’ x 50’ Education Pavilion that will provide a vital teaching and gathering space to offer outdoor, land-based education for most of the year. In addition to providing an outdoor teaching space for Round Hill School, the pavilion will provide a hub for growing food, building community, addressing food insecurity, improving the land, sharing (indigenous) knowledge, increasing food production skills, and educating urban and rural youth through workshops and field trips.
A pavilion increases the functionality of the foodscape and provides potential revenue streams for RHRAF and the wider community, with scope for educational and research projects.
The Education Pavilion will provide a vibrant community space that supports education, the environment, and the growth of a rural community.
